Remarketing & Consignment

AMTREX provides a national remarketing capability to sell your trailers, including: multi-publication advertising; 2500 retail buyers receive our faxed inventory each month; top ranked web site; email distribution; telemarketing; a nine acre retail sales center; and, affiliations with  repair companies and storage facilities nationwide. Our four senior sales reps. have 60+  years experience.

We handle all sales administration (contracts, invoicing, collecting and disbursing proceeds, remitting sales tax, title transfers etc.).  We focus on retail sales to end-users, which means you net higher sale proceeds while having all the details handled properly.


Equipment Storage AMTREX can provide parking space for transportation and other equipment at our nine-acre sales center on Interstate 20 in East Metro Atlanta.
Group PurchasesIf you need a quick sale, AMTREX buys trailer groups in both large and small quantities. We have the capital to pay for trailers upon delivery. We won't play games as some do, like delaying payment until the equipment is resold.
AppraisalsAMTREX offers expert independent valuation services including on-site and desk-top appraisals. Clients rely on our valuation expertise to assist them in: residual value estimating; determining FMV purchase option prices; obtaining sale/lease-back financing; and, selling lessors' off-lease or carriers' excess fleet trailers.
End of Lease Negotiations

By negotiating directly with your lessee AMTREX can help get top dollar for your trailers. For example, we negotiated a Fair Market Value purchase option for a client who had considered accepting $2500 per unit on a group of 50 trailers. By providing the lessee strong evidence that the trailers had a much higher value, we closed the sale on behalf of our client at a price of $3500 per unit. We can also work on your behalf to manage trailer terminations at the end of the lease. Working with the lessee's operations or maintenance people, we provide damage bill-backs and ensure that each trailer meets the lease return provisions. Coupled with our remarketing services, you get top dollar for your trailer equipment.
